We will still have practice on Saturday, January 9th from 2-3:30 regardless of the weather. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheerfully *\0/* Mrs. Lile
There has been lots of questions regarding the cheerleaders' participation at county and regional tournament games. Cheerleaders will be cheering at all of these games regardless of the location. However, those cheerleaders playing volleyball will be required to attend volleyball games if there is a conflict. Mr. Skold and I looked at the schedule and tried to make changes where necessary so that there won't be many conflicts. It is hard to predict when it comes to tournament play. I hope that this answers any questions you might have. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Mrs. Lile
If you haven't made alterations for your uniform(s), you need to get that done. Our next game is Friday, November 20th. You will be wearing the blue uniform for that game.
The boys have a game on Thursday. Although we are not cheering, I want you to support the boys by wearing your hoodie sweatshirts to school on Thursday, November 12th. Please wear blue jeans with your hoodies.
Christmas Party Invites went out on Tuesday...if you plan to attend and want to participate in the Secret Santa Gift Exchange, let me know by Monday, November 23rd.
The first game of the season is approaching very fast! November 5th is the first game of the season and is at home! This is just a friendly reminder that if you still need to alter your uniforms, you need to do so immediately. If you are taking your uniforms in....please do not remove any of the material. This will allow for the uniforms to be taken back out in the future if need be. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheerfully, *\0/* Mrs. Lile
Practice has been cancelled for Wednesday, October 21st. WLB picture day is that day, and this will allow everyone the time to get ready for pictures so that they will look their best. Practices will still be held on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Sorry for the inconvenience! Cheerfully, *\0/*Mrs. Lile
I am a junior high teacher in central Illinois. I am also the cheerleading coach at the school where I teach. I have been married for almost 10 years and have a 5 year old son and a 3 month old daughter. I am using this blog to keep my squad update on what is going on regarding practices, games, and competitions. I am looking forward to having a successful and enjoyable season.
